LRT KLASIKA, in collaboration with the Lithuanian F. Autumn is the season of harvest, a time when nature yields the very best of what it has grown throughout the year. Grapes are no exception, having ripened their flavors in the sun since early spring. This will be a jazz-inspired journey of flavors toward new discoveries.

In the Paliesius Manor concert hall, Lars Danielsson will reveal the secrets of Nordic jazz—while in the Manor wine cellar, we will delve into French wines. A cozy journey through the French wine world awaits you, alongside a beverage connoisseur who will reveal the subtleties of French wines and answer any questions you might have. We will travel from the north of France to the south, pausing to explore the wines of various regions, their distinct aromas, and hidden flavors. During this open afternoon of discovery, you can look forward to 6–8 different wines, a wealth of fascinating stories, delightful discoveries of aromas and flavors, and pleasant, lively conversation. This is a perfect opportunity to spend the afternoon slowly, deliciously, and meaningfully.

Have you ever heard of a place called Gigondas? What about Cornas? Do you know what Pouilly-Fumé means, or where it can be found? Even if these French wine regions and villages are unfamiliar, it certainly does not mean they do not craft excellent wine. This Assumption Day, before the concert by renowned French pianist Jean-Marc Luisada, we will journey to the lesser-known regions of France and discover their wines.

During the SUSIKALBĖJIMAI creative residency, artists from varied disciplines sought a shared creative language, experimenting and cultivating a dialogue between music, painting, and installation art. The result of this residency is a collection of new artworks, born of collaboration and inspired by the surroundings of Paliesius Manor. The event will feature: an exhibition of fine art and installations, a live music program performed by pianist Viktoras Paukštelis and percussionist Vladimir Tarasov, a meeting and conversations with the residency participants, and refreshments—snacks, a hot beverage, and dessert.

After a nearly month-long stay at Paliesius Manor, we invite you to a special afternoon—a farewell to the twelve-lithograph cycle "King Solomon's Song of Songs" by the Litvak artist Théo Tobiasse from the collection of Dr. Shmuel Tatz. This event opens a new cycle of cultural encounters dedicated to the theme of the 2026 European Days of Jewish Culture: love. We have chosen to unfold the theme of love through one of humanity's oldest and most beautiful texts—the "Song of Songs" (Shir ha-Shirim), which for over two millennia has inspired poets, artists, musicians, and thinkers to reflect anew on love, beauty, and human connection.

Before the concert by renowned actor and singer Pino de Vittorio, we invite you to visit Provence! This sunny Southern French region by the Mediterranean Sea is celebrated for its elegant, crisp, and subtle wines, especially its rosés. Summers in Provence are intensely hot, yet the wines originating here pair beautifully with fresh Lithuanian summers. A diverse array of grapes is cultivated in Provence. In the white wines of Provence, Rolle dominates, offering a crisp and citrusy taste. In the rosés—Grenache and Cinsault, imparting fruitiness and elegance. In the reds, Syrah and Mourvèdre are more widely used—for structure, spice, and maturity.

We invite you to an open afternoon of discovery—a journey through the world of French wines alongside a beverage expert. During the event, you will be introduced to France’s most celebrated regions—Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Provence, and Alsace—exploring the grape varieties they nurture and their prevailing styles of flavor. You will experience how the nuances of white and red wines shift depending on the region. On April 19, we invite you to embark on an extraordinary historical hike—to discover the traces of the First World War hidden close by. Though over 100 years have passed since the end of the First World War (1914–1918) and this chapter of history has slipped into oblivion, the fortifications bearing witness to that era still endure as striking elements of the landscape. They catch the eye, guiding our thoughts back to the events and painful experiences of the past. On both sides of the Adutiškis–Vidžiai road (Didžiasalis eldership), along a stretch of approximately 50 km (part of which lies within the territory of Belarus), more than 50 German army military structures of various purposes still remain...

On April 11, a rising talent of the younger generation will perform at Paliesius Manor: a promising, multi-award-winning pianist. And before the concert, we will taste exquisite young French wines in the Manor wine cellar.Several different wines await you, both white and red. We can reveal that for the tasting, we have already selected a subtle, somewhat delicate Pinot Noir, alongside a Riesling renowned for its "steely" acidity.
