These Return Conditions apply to all Goods and Services purchased on the website https://paliesiausdvaras.lt/ (tickets, accommodation, catering, spa, educational programmes, rental of premises, etc.). Terms used in this document have the same meaning as in the Purchase Terms and Conditions.
1. Return of Physical Goods
This section applies to physical items (e.g., products of the “Wild Geese” shop) purchased on the website.
A Buyer wishing to exercise the right to withdraw from the purchase-sale contract and return ordered and purchased Goods must clearly inform the Seller by post or email within 14 days of the date the goods were delivered to the Buyer, and must return the goods to the Seller in the established manner no later than 7 (seven) days from the date of informing the Seller of the withdrawal.
If the Buyer withdraws from the purchase-sale contract for a Good and returns the Goods, the amount paid shall be refunded to the Buyer as follows:
- if the Buyer paid for the Goods by bank transfer, online banking, or payment card (Visa, Mastercard) – the money is refunded by the same method used for payment, within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of the date the Goods are returned.
When returning Goods, a VAT invoice (or its number), a cash register receipt, or another document confirming the purchase-sale (e.g., a payment card account statement) and the Order number must be provided. The conditions for returning Goods are agreed individually by email at info@paliesiausdvaras.lt or by telephone at +370 626 82 760.
2. Return of Tickets to Events
Tickets may be returned only if the event has been cancelled, the date or venue of the performance has changed, or with the consent of the event organiser. This condition is consistent with Article 6.228¹⁰(2)(12) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, under which a consumer’s right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to leisure services where the contract specifies a particular date for the provision of the service (the event).
Tickets are returned by contacting the event organiser by email at info@paliesiausdvaras.lt.
In exceptional cases, money for tickets may be refunded if the event organiser grants such authorisation to the ticket distributor (in the event of difficulties and/or complaints, please contact the event administrator).
If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the organiser undertakes to refund the amount paid to the Buyer by the same method used for payment, within 7 working days of receiving the ticket number, first name, surname, and (if the refund is made by bank transfer) bank account number, submitted by email at info@paliesiausdvaras.lt. The organiser may offer an alternative solution (e.g., tickets to another event); however, the Buyer decides for themselves which option is most suitable.
If you have any questions regarding ticket returns, please contact the Paliesius Manor customer service centre by telephone at +370 626 82 760 (during business hours).
3. Cancellation of Reservations for Accommodation and Other Services (Spa, Catering, Educational/Exploratory Programmes, Rental of Premises)
3.1. Legal Basis
Pursuant to Article 6.228¹⁰(2)(12) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, a consumer’s 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to accommodation, catering, or leisure services where the contract specifies a particular date or period for the provision of the service. Accordingly, the cancellation and refund conditions for such Services are established in this section on the Seller’s own initiative, in order to ensure a fair and clear procedure for the Buyer.
3.2. Cancellation Conditions and Deadlines
- If the Reservation is cancelled 14 or more calendar days before the arrival (service provision) date – 100% of the amount paid is refunded.
- If the Reservation is cancelled 7–13 calendar days before the arrival date – 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
- If the Reservation is cancelled less than 7 calendar days before the arrival date, or in the event of the Buyer’s non-arrival (no-show) – the amount paid is not refunded.
3.3. Rescheduling a Reservation
Instead of cancelling, the Buyer may request to reschedule the Reservation to another date, subject to availability. Rescheduling is free of charge if the request is submitted no later than 7 calendar days before the original arrival date. If the request is submitted later, rescheduling is subject to the Seller’s consent and an additional fee may apply.
3.4. Cancellation Initiated by the Seller
If a Service cannot be provided for reasons attributable to the Seller or due to force majeure circumstances (e.g., an emergency situation at the manor, decisions of state authorities), the Seller shall refund the Buyer the full amount paid or, with the Buyer’s consent, offer an alternative date or an equivalent Service.
4. Method and Timeframe of Refunds
In all cases provided for in these Return Conditions, money is refunded by the same method used by the Buyer to make the payment (to the payment card or bank account from which the payment was made), within 14 calendar days of the date the return/cancellation is confirmed, unless a shorter period is established in this document for a specific case (see Section 2 regarding tickets).
In all cases, the Buyer retains the rights arising from the sale of a defective Good or Service, as provided for by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
