On April 18, in the Paliesius Manor concert hall, the ensemble “Dar vieni” will blow the dust off the Baroque—while we, in the Manor wine cellar, will endeavor to illuminate a path through the abundance of wine.

These days, the wine selection in shops and supermarkets is simply immense—but how does one avoid getting lost amidst it all? How do you choose a truly good bottle when a friend asks for wine instead of flowers for their birthday? How is wine paired with food?

During this tasting, we will learn what to choose and how. We will discuss how the dishes served for dinner might influence our choices, and what kind of wine is best suited for a warming spring Sunday afternoon. A professional wine connoisseur will be our guide through the world of wine.
