Viktoras Paukštelis invites you to his and Vladimir Tarasov’s August 9 concert, “Reminiscence of Chopin,” at Paliesius Manor.

The duo previously deconstructed the Baroque, and their new program awaits with the music of Chopin. The manor’s historical instruments—the organ and harpsichord—will also resound.

Vladimir Tarasov is a world-renowned drummer, inventive percussionist, composer, and visual artist. He is a master of many musical styles, though his primary interests remain free jazz and improvisational music. Pianist Viktoras Paukštelis has performed in such prestigious venues as New York’s Carnegie Hall, Vienna’s Musikverein, and the Berlin Philharmonie, participated in numerous international festivals, released four CDs, and repeatedly earned the acclaim of fellow musicians and music critics.
