Description

On May 30, before the concert by the renowned actor and singer Pino de Vittorio, we invite you to visit Provence! This sunny region in the South of France, nestled by the Mediterranean Sea, is renowned for its elegant, refreshing, and subtle wines, particularly its rosés. While summers in Provence are famously hot, the wines born there pair beautifully with our breezy Lithuanian summers.

A variety of grapes flourish in Provence. White Provencal wines are dominated by Rolle, offering a crisp, citrusy flavor. In the rosés, Grenache and Cinsault bring fruitiness and elegance. For the reds, Syrah and Mourvèdre take the lead, lending structure, spice, and maturity.

On this day, we will gather in the Manor wine cellar with a sommelier to taste a selection of Provencal wines, spanning from white and rosé to red. To make the tasting both engaging and easy to compare, we will focus on a single producer (a “château”), setting out to discover which wine this Provencal estate crafts best!

We are also delighted to share that Paliesius Manor was awarded a silver star on the Star Wine List in 2025!
