Talented and innovative musicians—violinist Dalia Simaška and accordionist Laimonas Salijus—are among the brightest performers of Lithuania’s younger generation. Laureates of international and national competitions, they perform both in Lithuania and abroad. The sound of the violin and the accordion, often considered an unexpected pairing, finds a striking expressiveness and harmonious balance in this duo.
The program “Šokio ritmu” radiates a wonderful variety of music and exceptional performance mastery. It will feature works by contemporary composers such as Mikołaj Majkusiak, Gediminas Gelgotas, and Ole Edvard Antonsen, alongside the music of classical masters like César Franck and Astor Piazzolla.
