THE “KREMERATA BALTICA” FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE AT PALIESIUS MANOR / 2024

On August 10–11, for the first time in history, Paliesius Manor hosted a festival featuring Maestro Gidon Kremer and the Kremerata Baltica chamber orchestra. Joining one of the most renowned violinists of our time and the Grammy Award-winning orchestra were the Kremerata Lettonica ensemble and five distinguished guest soloists. Performances at the piano were given by Yulianna Avdeeva, First Prize laureate of the prestigious F. Chopin competition; Andrejs Osokins, who has won first prizes at the A. Rubinstein, Leeds, and other major competitions; and Andrius Žlabys, a Grammy-nominated artist and one of Lithuania’s most fascinating pianists. The stage also welcomed violinist Madara Pētersone, winner of multiple national and international competitions, and violist Emma Wernig, known for her authentic musical voice and active presence on the festival circuit.
