The performers will present a program that is deeply personal and very dear to them, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of one of the most renowned contemporary composers, Arvo Pärt. The program is structured on the principle of a mirror reflection and takes its name from one of the works: “Spiegel im Spiegel” (lit. “Mirror in the Mirror”).
Onutė Gražinytė performs worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician. She frequently appears in a duo with Edward King, and is highly regarded for her creative programming and profound musical insights. Edward King is a laureate of international cello competitions and a professor of cello at the Leopold Mozart College of Music at the University of Augsburg.
