This will be an exclusive evening of chamber music, where the depth of romanticism and the boldness of contemporary music will meet. First on stage will be pianist, Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy professor Donaldas Račys and Israeli violinist Evgenia Epshtein – performers characterized by mature interpretation, a sensitive sense of musical dialogue, and a broad artistic outlook.
In the second part of the concert, they will be joined by two prominent figures of the Lithuanian music scene: percussionist Arkadijus Gotesmanas and bassist Eugenijus Kanevičius. A premiere in Lithuania will be performed: composer Eugene Levitas’ genre-transcending composition „Behind and Beyond“.
