On April 18, in the Paliesius Manor concert hall, the ensemble “Dar vieni” will blow the dust off the Baroque—while we, in the Manor wine cellar, will endeavor to illuminate a path through the abundance of wine.
Today, the selection in wine shops and supermarkets is simply immense—but how does one keep from getting lost among it all? How do you choose a truly fine bottle when heading to a birthday party where a friend asks for wine instead of flowers? How should wine be paired with food?
During this tasting, we will learn exactly what to choose and how to choose it. We will discuss how the dishes served for dinner might guide our selections, and which wine is most fitting for a gently warming spring Sunday afternoon.
