On April 9, 2022, pianist, composer, and vocalist Giedrius Nakas presented his newly released jazz album, “The Dream I Forgot,” at Paliesius Manor. The album’s music balances on the boundaries of jazz, classical, rock, and cinematic scores, creating an immersive atmosphere while retaining a vibrant, natural feel. Rather than focusing solely on individual artistry, the compositions emphasize the ensemble’s collective sound, tracing a dramaturgical arc and a slowly unfolding narrative that leaves space for the listener’s own interpretations.
