Viktoras Paukštelis is often called an artist of a unique nature, as he presents audiences with a synthesis of his two talents—painting and playing the piano. For him, music and art are two intertwining and complementary components: the unpolished impulsiveness of his painting adds experimental courage on stage, while the visual work of creating form with colors becomes a way of hearing, transferred into the realm of pianism. On the classical stage, such a synthesis of two art forms is unparalleled.
