As we awaited Christmas in 2021, we had the pleasure of enjoying an exquisite concert by the State Vilnius Quartet and harpist Aistė Baliunytė.
For 55 years, the State Vilnius Quartet has been one of the most prominent ensembles in Lithuania’s cultural life, earning the highest acclaim both at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the young harpist Aistė Baliunytė is rapidly ascending in her musical career, making Lithuania’s name known worldwide and earning numerous scholarships, prizes, and awards.
We share a wonderful festive memory from the quartet and harpist’s concert, “Awaiting Christmas,” which took place on December 18, 2021.
