Together with conductor Raimonda Skabekaite, they will present a program prepared specifically for this concert, transporting you into the colorful and passionate rhythms of Latin America. During the evening, you will hear works by celebrated composers from Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina—music that is rarely performed in our concert halls. Encompassing a wide stylistic spectrum, the performance ranges from the energetic, dance-infused pieces of Arturo Márquez and Aldemaro Romero to the mystically colorful “Quarteto simbólico” by Villa-Lobos and works by Silvestre Revueltas composed in the spirit of modernism.
