She is one of the most successful singers of all time, an actress, writer, director – it seems Barbra Streisand’s talents are simply inexhaustible. This music legend has earned the respect of a huge army of listeners and has become a true icon for younger generation performers.
Organizing a concert of B. Streisand’s songs was an old dream of Evelina Sašenko – now it has become a reality and has been met with numerous audience ovations. “This singer is like a teacher to me, someone I look up to, whose recordings I listen to the most,” says E. Sašenko. Evelina included songs from the musicals “Funny Girl,” “Cats,” and many other popular B. Streisand songs in the concert program.
Evelina does not try to imitate or simply transform into this artist. She dedicates the performance to everyone who adores Barbra Streisand no less than she does. During the performance, Evelina will be accompanied on the piano by her long-time stage partner – pianist Paulius Zdanavičius.
