Description
On August 1, the talented Rūta Ščiogolevaitė and pianist Paulius Zdanavičius return to Paliesius Manor’s Pasaga Concert Hall! A cozy and lyrical concert imbued with jazz awaits, featuring such immortal pieces as “When I Fall in Love”, “My Funny Valentine”, “Angel Eyes”, and “Body and Soul”.
Seeing singer Rūta Ščiogolevaitė on stage, there is not the slightest doubt that she was simply born for it. The performer radiates charisma, enchants with a powerful and masterfully controlled voice, captivates with her artistry and tasteful repertoire, and effortlessly wins the hearts of her audience.
This is confirmed not only by sold-out halls and thunderous applause, but also by her fellow performers. “A remarkably talented singer with a wide, warm, expressive, and colorful vocal range. She effortlessly commands music of various styles. On stage, she bursts with energy and conviction. All listeners are captivated by her artistry and effortless rapport,” noted Steponas Januška, vocalist for the group “Studija”.
Singer Rosita Čivilytė asserts that “Rūta Ščiogolevaitė is one of the few vocalists in Lithuania capable of singing professionally not only in pop but across a variety of styles and genres. Listening to her, it is abundantly clear that this singer, having mastered the foundations of musical literacy, interprets and phrases with absolute freedom. She can proudly champion Lithuania’s musical name not only within our country but also far beyond its borders.”
Joining her on stage will be one of Lithuania’s most prominent pianists and arrangers, Paulius Zdanavičius. He is Rūta Ščiogolevaitė’s longtime stage partner, sharing countless joint concerts and creative projects with the singer, including her album “Tai – gyvenimas”.
