On April 10, Martín García García—one of the most gifted pianists of our time—returns to Paliesius Manor!

Martín García García (born in 1996 in Gijón) is an acclaimed Spanish pianist who has captivated audiences on many of the most prestigious stages across Europe, America, and Asia. Praised by such distinguished figures as V. Krainev, D. Alexeev, A. Volodos, D. Bashkirov, J. Achúcarro, and T. Copeland (S. Rachmaninoff’s niece), his artistic mastery rises unceasingly to new heights. His impressive career is adorned with top honors from major international competitions. Among them: first prize at the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition and third prize at the 2021 International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, where he also received the Warsaw National Philharmonic special prize for the best concerto performance.

The foundation of Martín’s success lies in his rigorous musical education. His musical journey began at the age of five, studying under N. Mazoun and I. Goldfarb. The pianist graduated from the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where he studied for ten years with Professor G. Eguiazarova and was named the most outstanding student of her piano studio—an award presented to him by Her Majesty Queen Sofía. He later completed his master’s degree in piano at the Mannes School of Music in New York under the renowned pianist J. Rose.

In recent seasons, Martín has cemented his reputation as one of the finest pianists of his generation. He has performed with ensembles such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Spanish National Orchestra, Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC), Sinfonia Varsovia, Tokyo Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, and others, under the baton of such renowned conductors as M. Pletnev, V. Petrenko, and A. Boreyko.

The 2026–2027 season is particularly significant: Martín embarks on his tenth tour of Japan, where his concerts draw some 25,000 listeners—a testament to his extraordinary popularity in the region. Alongside major appearances in Europe and the US, the pianist anticipates concerts in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Australia, as well as a highly awaited return to Latin America.

Martín’s discography continues to grow. Following his successful albums “Chopin and His Master” (2022), “Even-Tide” (2024), and “Silent Music” (2025), which were warmly received by listeners, his newest album, “Chopin and His Echo”, will be released in 2026. His devotion to his art is evident not only in the studio but also in the sincerity and deep focus of his live performances.
