We warmly invite you to spend the first Sunday of December in a festive spirit! Two young talents, Danish pianist Jason Lee Reks Jacobsen and Lithuanian violinist Dovydas Čiplys, will present a cozy afternoon filled with charming music.
Jason Lee Reks Jacobsen (b. 2010) began playing the piano at the age of seven, and since 2022 he has been studying at the Gradus Junior College with Martin Lysholm Jepsen.
He has won top prizes in numerous music competitions. Among them are the Ferenc Liszt International Youth Piano Competition in Qingdao, China (1st place, 2019), The Classical Junior competition in Denmark (1st place, 2023–2025), the Steinway Nordic International Piano Competition in Sweden (2nd place, 2025), Pianister i Nord (1st place, 2024–2025; prize for the best performance of a work by Ravel, 2025), and the Music Without Limits international piano competition in Lithuania (1st place, 2024–2025).
He has also attended masterclasses with such pianists as Roberto Prosseda, Sveinung Bjelland, Amalie Malling, Aleksandra Žvirblytė, Guoda Gedvilaitė, and Alexander Ivanov, and has performed in Denmark and abroad.
Dovydas Čiplys (b. 2010) is currently studying at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art in the violin class of Prof. Rūta Lipinaitytė. Dovydas is a scholarship recipient of the M. Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation “Help for Lithuanian Children.”
The young violinist is a laureate of various international competitions. These include the International V. Radovičius Competition (Grand Prix winner, 2025), the Music Without Limits international competition (1st place, 2025), the B. Dvarionas and S. Sondeckis international violin competitions (2nd place, 2024), and the X International A. Dombrovskis Competition (2026) in Latvia.
As a soloist, Dovydas has appeared on numerous occasions with various Lithuanian orchestras—he has performed with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, the Music Without Limits festival chamber orchestra, and the Camerata Solaris orchestra at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, the Kaunas State Philharmonic, St. Catherine’s Church, and others.
Dovydas continuously refines his musical skills in masterclasses and has participated in open lessons with renowned violinists and professors, including Boris Brovtsyn, Ludmila Witek-Worobej, and Philip A. Draganov. Dovydas Čiplys received an invitation to participate in the prestigious Swiss International Music Academy (SIMA) in Switzerland for the summer of 2026.
