In the final month of the year, as Christmas and the New Year draw near, a mood of joyous anticipation fills the air. Paliesius Manor is no exception—this month, we will host five captivating concerts, ranging from the classical to the warmly festive. The first weekend of December welcomes the brilliant contemporary pianist Yulianna Avdeeva, followed by the renowned Polish singer Viola Brzezińska, a descendant of the last owner of Paliesius Manor. Later, we will travel to Buenos Aires with the Vilnius Quartet and accordionist Tadas Motiečius, and remember Tom Jones with singer Eugenijus Chrebtovas. Finally, we will bid farewell to this year and welcome the new one alongside the crystalline voice of singer Giedrė and pianist Andrejus Polevikovas.

Paliesius Manor welcomes Yulianna Avdeeva, one of the most brilliant contemporary pianists of our time. She gained international recognition at the 2010 International F. Chopin Piano Competition, where she won first prize for a meticulous performance that was described as matching “Chopin’s own playing” (The Telegraph). An artist of fiery temperament and profound virtuosity, she plays with power, conviction, and exquisite sensitivity. She has performed with many of the most prominent orchestras in Europe and the United States, including the Berlin and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestras, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic, Kremerata Baltica, and others. In 2025, Y. Avdeeva was invited to serve as a jury member for the XIX International F. Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, marking the competition’s 100th anniversary. At her Paliesius Manor concert, she will perform works by J. S. Bach, F. Liszt, and F. Chopin.
December 7, 2:00 PM | “White Christmas”
Paliesius Manor will host “White Christmas,” a concert by the acclaimed Polish singer Viola Brzezińska. She won first place on the television talent show Szansa na sukces and at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, was invited to represent Poland at Eurovision Young Musicians, and was awarded the grand prize at the young talent festival in Rawa Mazowiecka. V. Brzezińska has performed in theater and with various bands, and her voice can be heard on multiple film soundtracks. She is also a descendant of the last owner of Paliesius Manor, Romualdas Brzezinskis, giving this performance at the estate a profoundly special meaning. At Paliesius Manor, the singer will be accompanied by pianist Jacek Cichocki. The program will feature popular and joyful Christmas songs from around the world, inviting you to feel right at home as you embrace the cozy warmth of the approaching holidays.
December 20, 4:00 PM | Seasons in Buenos Aires. Vilnius Quartet and Tadas Motiečius
The State Vilnius Quartet and accordionist Tadas Motiečius will take the stage for the concert “Seasons in Buenos Aires.” The program will feature both popular and widely unheard chamber music, including works by Ukrainian composer D. Klebanov, Polish composer M. Majkusiak, and Argentine A. Piazzolla. The State Vilnius Quartet, a long-standing guardian of chamber music traditions, continually prepares engaging programs and thematic cycles, introducing audiences to the masterpieces of the genre and music rarely heard in Lithuania. They perform actively both domestically and internationally, collaborating with prominent Lithuanian and foreign musicians. Tadas Motiečius is a multiple laureate of national and international competitions, and a frequent participant in seminars, festivals, and various musical projects. Recently, he has become one of the most active accordionists in the country, representing the art of the accordion at the highest level in prestigious events both in Lithuania and abroad.
December 21, 2:00 PM | Eugenijus Chrebtovas | Tom Jones Tribute
Singer Eugenijus Chrebtovas presents his “Tom Jones Tribute.” Known not only for his distinctive vocal timbre but also for his ability to embody stage legends with deep respect and professionalism, E. Chrebtovas will be the first in Lithuania to premiere a program dedicated to this iconic singer. The songs of Tom Jones not only conquered global charts but continue to breathe with powerful emotion and unfading energy to this day. The concert will feature beloved hits such as “Delilah,” “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again,” “I Who Have Nothing,” and other audience favorites. Another luminary of that era, Engelbert Humperdinck, will also be remembered. The program includes several of his songs, among them “The Last Waltz” and “Love Me With All Of Your Heart.”
December 31, 5:30 PM | Crystal New Year at Paliesius: GIEDRĖ
Paliesius Manor invites you to celebrate a “Crystal New Year at Paliesius.” The highlight of the evening will be a performance by singer Giedrė, accompanied by pianist Andrejus Polevikovas, beginning at 8:00 PM. Gifted with a truly unique and unforgettable voice, Giedrė is a versatile artist who feels completely at home across various genres, delivering both jazz and pop music with impeccable style. She has won numerous awards performing with the widely known groups Empti and Pieno lazeriai. Today, the artist has returned to the style where her musical journey began—light electronica. For her New Year’s concert, she has prepared a program featuring her recent work which, in her own words, intertwines calm and storms, nostalgia and change, allowing listeners to feel both the comfort of home and the magic of celebration.
